Special Reports on 3.16 Youth Chapter Gathering

While the Youths of SSA exerted themselves, preparing and holding meeting in respective chapters to commemorate 3.16 Kosen-rufu Day, what has the top Youth leaders of SSA contributed, in any form, besides making themselves look great in ‘Creative Lives’ by aberrantlyconnecting our mentor to their sharing.

In this historic occasion when the true disciples of President Ikeda, stand up to renew their conviction and return to the prime point of the vow for Kosen-rufu, everyone anticipates that our beloved mentor’s message will arrive expectantly. Why was it so? Exactly 55 years ago at the foot of Mount Fuji, 6000 brave Youth members assembled from all over Japan to seek their mentor, President Toda. Even when our mentor who was not possible to be physically here in Singapore to commemorate this significant occasion with us, our hearts are always one with him. A warmth message from our mentor is indispensable to strongly motivate all of the Youth disciples in fulfilling the vow of mentor and disciples by further advancing the movement for Kosen-rufu locally.Henceforth, our mentor’s message is inevitable to mark this memorable occasion. We have news that many chapters have spontaneously prepared a slot in their agenda for Sensei’s message to be read out to the participants of the meeting. 

Unfortunately, within a couple of days before the Youth Chapter Gathering, the disciples of Singapore met with a profound disappointment. It was the news, which broke out to all that there will be no Sensei’s message for the 3.16 Youth Chapter Gathering this year.This announcement befuddled several youth and saddened many. In response, HosshakuKempon took this upon our mission to report it. In addition, we would like to query the top leaders on the genuine reason for their failure to request a message from our mentor. It is a recognized fact that our mentor will not fail to deliver his message to unsparingly inspire his disciples upon sincere request by his disciples. Nonetheless, SGI-USA Youth Division members did receive an inspiring 3.16 message from our mentor. Conclusively, we can come to term that the Youth chief Leonard Koh failed to request one from our mentor.

Realizing the blunder the top leaders of SSA has gotten into, they arbitrarily replaced our mentor’s message with the General Director’s and MD/WD chief’s message. Although the Youth of SSA appreciates the adult top leaders for their kind words and expectation, it can never substitute the heart of our mentor. What do you think?
