The Gajokais' Persecution - 2nd September 2012

Thank you so much for the prompt response. We have received a couple of emails regarding the Gajokai issue. From what we have gathered, the persecution continues and the attacks are now channelled on those who supported the six of them whom were being removed and expelled last year.

The targets of this attack were mainly focussed on those supporters who performs Gajokai duty in HQ. The targeted supporters were initially asked to sign a letter of enrollment bearing the purpose of recruiting the current HQ Gajokai to be part of the New HQ Building's Gajokai. The new group is to be named as 'HQ Sokamen Security Group' which will comprise of MD Ojoka too.

In the initial stage, Chang Quan the Gajokai chief, announced that the HQ Gajokai were under no obligations to the signing of the letter of enrollment. However, the event took a turn when Chang Quan suddenly re-announced that those who did not sign the letter, were not allowed to perform Gajokai duties with immediate effect. Hence, these turn of event has led many of the supporters to be automatically opt out from Gajokai duties in HQ.

Furthermore, in the letter of enrollment, a clause states that 'the person will not hold the Association liable for any injury sustained' during the course of duties. We believe that those who perform their duties are out of their own free will and the idea to claim the organization for injury inflicted in the course of duty has never ever crossed the mind of the Gajokai. What is the intention for the inclusion of this particular clause?

Many questions and doubts were being raised in the recent 'operation to kill' event for HQ Gajokai. In the email, the sender mentioned that Chang Quan is not a 'smart ass' in planning the whole 'operation to kill'. It is the top leaders like Youth chief and YMD chief who are scheming behind the curtain.

We, too, feel that these decisions may not be Chang Quan alone. Whoever the mastermind is, such actions are really uncalled for and should have never existed in a faith organization. Nowhere in any SGI organization have we witnessed such actions being displayed.

What is their motive of getting rid all these people?

Why so eager to create a new group when the new HQ Building is still far from completion?
