Background
Vibrant Kansai YWDs warmly welcoming their mentoron his 258th visit to Kansai on Nov 2007 "Youthful Sakura" was announced as a new song of the Young Women Division (YWD) at the Youth Division general meeting commemorating the 20th anniversary of “3.16” held at Tachikawa Culture Centre on March 16, 1978.
At that time, the dark clouds of the first priesthood issue hung over and the priests’ unilateral harassment towards the Gakkai members had begun. Ikeda Sensei thought to himself, “As long as I hold a single breath, I will continue to fight. I will never allow the demons to take advantage and lay a single hand on the Buddha’s disciples. Storms of adversity, come what may!” With the heart of the loving father to protect the YWD, Ikeda Sensei encouraged them to liken their life to the Sakura in full bloom after having endured the harsh winter. "Do not be defeated by the storm!", "Open your life of Sakura in full bloom!" In response to this mentor’s encouragement, the creation of "Youthful Sakura" began with the intent to inject into a song the content of the "honour and joy of youth to be with the mentor" and "the desire to be with the mentor no matter where". Ikeda Sensei repeatedly refined the lyrics which was earnestly produced by the YWD with the intent to create a song that truly represents the spirit of heralding a new era. Finally, only the words “Youthful Sakura” remained. In addition the melody that he was listening over many times was repeatedly thought over. Thus "Youthful Sakura" literally saw the completion as the "Song of shared struggle of mentor and disciple" and the "Song of the vow of mentor and disciple". Ikeda Sensei proposed, “How about calling for a nationwide chorus festival to sing the ‘Youthful Sakura’?” When the YWD chorus festival was held nationwide with the theme "Youthful Sakura of the Life of Fragrance", Ikeda Sensei also attended the chorus festival in various places and sang the "Youthful Sakura" together with friends of the YWD. The eternal history of the YWD of "We sang the song of vow with our mentor" was solemnly engraved. In November 2006, Ikeda Sensei presented the reprint of the manuscript that chronicled the lyrics of "Youthful Sakura" to the representative of the YWD and said, “With the great development of the YWD and the WD, the curtain of the Gakkai's new era has opened. Finally the time has come.  池田先生摄于2001年4月 东京 《青春樱》于1978年3月16日在立川文化会馆所举行的青年部总会暨 “3.16” 20周年纪念会上，发表的女子部新歌。
当时，宗门事件的乌云与僧侣的单方骚扰笼罩着学会员。 池田先生想：“只要一息尚存，我就要奋斗。不许魔君碰佛子一根毫毛。暴风雨，朝我来吧!” 如慈父之心地呵护着女子部，池田先生以忍耐严冬、绽放花朵的樱花姿态，激励每个女子部员的生命。犹如呐喊着 “不被风暴而击垮！” ，“犹如盛开的樱花敞开你们的生命！” 为了回应恩师的鼓励，《青春樱》以注入 “青年能与师同在所感受到的荣誉和喜悦” 与 “与师同在的期望” 作为创作前提。 池田先生也为了回应女子部诚心创作，不断推敲歌词以便能创作一首赋予召唤新时代精神的代表作。到最后，只有 “青春樱” 三字被保留。此外，池田先生是一遍又一遍反复聆听着歌曲的旋律。 无可厚非，《青春樱》称的上是“ 师弟共战” 、“师弟共誓” 的一首歌曲。 池田先生提议：“要不然举行合唱节把这首《青春樱》推广全国。” 当合唱节以 “花香之生命的青春樱” 为主题在全国开演，池田会长也在各地出席了几回，一同与女子部的友人唱着《青春樱》这首歌。 “与师匠一同唱着共誓之歌” 就这样庄严地、永远地刻划在女子部的历史上。 2006年11月，池田会长把《青春樱》的原稿印刷成复本，赠予女子部代表时说道：“因女子部与妇人部的大发展，掀开了学会新时代之幕。时刻终于到来。我期望大家都能友善的，明朗的，直接的推进创价的黄金般之道。” 啊 瞭望着满天星宇 与你一起回顾彼此的誓言 无论如何切忘这条 道路 携手共进的 青春樱 刻划着师弟永恒原点的《青春樱》，在不可被取代的同志、前辈，及比任何人更注视成长与幸福的人生师匠陪同下, 成为女子部发起最大誓愿，继承新时代广宣流布，与师共进的一首歌！ |
